Read with my 10 year old son. Wife of Jim, introduced in book 2 and deceased as of Book 3. It made me wake up a little, and think about my life. Jim ends up trying to destroy the sword and is in a consant combat with the Gadiantons he ends up working with a ancient warior who helps him in his quest. They have created some good discussions.

Share your thoughts with other customers. I think it's mostly the philosophical stuff and how blunt the intentional parallel to "The Lord of the Rings" that bothered me. This book was the best!!!!!! A gadixntons good sequel.

I really enjoyed this sequel. Jim had recoverd a sword that was very special to the jershonites.
Still awesome series even after so many years of being out. It's silvfr darker sequel to the first book but full of interesting Book of Mormon tidbits and as always makes the story of these real characters real and personal. The Gadiantons are trying to get the Silver Sword. But it's an enjoyable tale with elements of history and scripture and one of my favorite descriptions of faith in fictional literature.

Daughter of Sabrina from a previous marriage. Jim has changed a lot and is different than Garth. If you do I listened to this many years ago with my parents and siblings and loved the adventure and suspense.

I thought this book a good sequel. But the jershonites had already anf to the top of the mountain and Jim found Garth, Garth made a friend there and in the hotle Jim stayed in the night before Garth got hurt so he had Garth friend help him up the mountain but they got locked between two gates on the mountain and the friend got away and got a lot of villagers to come to his rescue.
Heimerdinger said that tentative plans are for book 11 Sorcerers and Seers to be published in early fall inwith volume 12 more appropriately named Thorns of Glory to be published 6—12 months after book Main character since book 5.
